I am declaring 11.1.11 a brand new start for my weight loss goals. I have nine weeks until 2012 and eleven weeks until Oahu so now is my time to get my butt into high gear!
Today I had personal training with Ricky. Lots of jump squats, crunches, and weights. I was not a happy camper because 1. I was tired and 2. I did not eat breakfast. Before you jump down my throat, I KNOW the importance of eating before working out but me and breakfasts are adversaries. I love brunch but that’s whole other blog post. After a half-hour of personal training, I went on my other adversary–the treadmill. I cranked that bad boy to 4.0 MPH and zoned off to my music. I’m pretty proud that I was able to walk/jog almost four miles on no fuel (which is bad-bad-bad! I know). My body will hate me later.
I am going to *try* to go back to the gym tonight for Zumba. I am not trying to overdo it but I really just love Zumba!
Tomorrow is spin class in the AM which I am super psyched for because I love spinning and it helped tremendously with my weight loss that last time (insert screwy face). Then back to the personal training grind on Thursday.
I found a really interesting article on NPR “Losing Weight: A battle Against Fat and Biology” I hope Part 2 explores the psychology aspect as I feel as though that has a BIG impact on losing weight AND keeping it off. What did you think of the article?
