This week I feel like I am on FIRE. So what if it’s only Tuesday…I still feel motivated!
I wore my Nike Fuel band yesterday and I crushed my goal of 3000 (yes, the least amount) by 1200 more points. I went for a 2.5 mile run using my Run25K app and really enjoyed it. Of course listening to my guilty pleasure (read: ratchet hip-hop music coupled with top 40 pop songs) helped me get through it.
Is the Anti-Runner actually learning to love running? Ok, let’s not get TOO excited and carried away here!
This week I had another loss of 1.6 pounds for a loss of 18.3 pounds since January 1st. Yes! Slow and steady wins the race! This is motivation in itself especially since it is my TOM. I know too much information but my ladies will feel me when I say my poor eating choices included annihilating a warehouse club sized bag of Skinny Pop popcorn in two days (craving salt!), King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls (craving sweet!), a day where I just nibbled on only cheesy foccacia bread and water, and a hibachi dinner night with sushi (more salt!) with the fam.
Yes, I tracked and used my activity and weekly points so this loss is awesomesauce! Oh and did I forget to mention these amazing Greek Yogurt Pancakes via The Recipe Girl that my lovely hubby served me in bed…yes I have been eating lovely!
The rest of the week includes Zumba Toning (today), Week 5 Day 1 of Run 5K (Wednesday), Spinning (Friday). I will try to do some of my Kinect workouts out at home to balance it all out!
Thanks to a Twitter win from Premier Protein, I enjoyed a post-run shake and enjoyed another one today after Zumba. It was delicious and 30 grams of protein to boot!
