Today, Zumba Toning was extra special! I danced like no one was watching and even snuck in a photo!
The past week has been hard eating-wise with an 18 hour trip to Austin where I ate a little bit through the city (including half a cupcake, Texas-style sangria, sushi, and sake punch…yes a little bit of everything indeed!) coupled with a Nets game where I shared boneless wings AND half a foot long hot dog with my hubby. Not my best eating week because of the two cheat meals! Remarkably, I did NOT go over my points and drank plenty of water and exercised as planned.
I fell in love/lust with Mama Mae’s collard greens (yum!), Healthy Choice Top Chef meals (not bad in a pinch with a salad), and Fiber One Chocolate 80 calories cereal. Finding this 2 Weight Watcher point cereal was AWESOMENESS. Seriously it changes the milk to chocolatey goodness AND it’s cereal and most importantly
Of course I remained devoted to my Newman’s Own Thin and Crispy white pizza (I only eat 1/3 instead of a whole one — like I would really like to– with a HUGE salad), vegetarian falafel meatballs with tzaziki sauce, reduced fat popcorn with an olive oil spritz and sprinkle of Parmesan cheese (my 8pm snack), shrimp quesadillas on low carb wraps, and chicken tikka with brown rice. MY eating habits have improved dramatically since I have been brutally honest and diligent with my food tracking. I make sure I eats lots of veggies and fruits as well. In fact, I ate so many collard greens that I am OFFICIALLY part leafy-vegetable. Anddddd….did I mention that I haven’t had Coke Zero in a looonnnggg time, so long I don’t remember nor crave it!?!
Anddddd I joined another Fitfluential DietBet! YAHOO! Because even though I kicked the Fitbloggin’ DietBet’s boot-ay in January, the February Fitfluential one kicked my butt so I’m back to show ‘em who’s boss! JOIN ME!
I know I have a ways to go because my ten percent loss is NOT where I want to end. My next mini goal is to lose ten pounds. I am giving myself until April 10th (the end of the DietBet) to do so! When I successfully finish this DietBet, I am going to register for m y first 5K or 10K! This Diva WANTS to run!
