I’ve been back in the game full throttle since getting back to Lanai, where I fell off royally by imbibing in many, many Mai Tais and just living la vida loca with nary a care in the world! I have been diligently tracking my Weight Watchers points and going to the gym. I am also “competing” in another DietBet (hosted by Fitfluential). I have so much going on with work and home, heading to Blissdom, and trying to balance it all…ahhh! Plus I have been working with an awesome team to re-design my blogs so I can give my Get Fit Diva fam mo’ awesomeness including recipes, workouts (YouTube channel!), and giveaways!
My total weight loss from Janaury 1st at 20.7 pounds. So, I have averaged 2 pounds per week loss which is a HEALTHY weight loss and I am pretty proud of myself. ::pat pat on back::
I am about eight pounds away from my goal weight that I initially put in my Weight Watchers app many, many moons ago. I remember thinking that I would NEVER get there. This would be a weight I can maintain and have a solid and healthy BMI and feel dare I say…sexy?!?! I remember being forty pounds more than that weight two summers ago as seen in my before picture. Yowsa.
This past weekend was St. Patrick’s Day and I thoroughly enjoyed myself (corned beef, potatoes AND some chocolate pie–oh my!) and even got in a few workouts including Run5K, elliptical, and Hip Hop Dance Experience on the Kinect.
Today I’m in Struggle City. I’m home with a sick kid and not feeling 100 percent myself…I truly hope I am not coming down with something. I think I am just feeling a bit wore down (like so tired that two pair of shoes were delivered this morning and I am too tired to open the package) and I am hoping my trip to Blissdom in Dallas with re-energize me!
