May is chock full of exciting health and wellness events! I am so excited to attend these amazing events. I wish I could pack even more into my schedule!
As a voracious reader and aspiring writer (hopefully to be published one day SOON!) I’ll go behind the books at the Random House Open House on May 3rd. I missed last year’s Open House so I am so excited to attend! The Random House Open House is a unique special event that brings together the biggest names in literature in publishing for a day-long event of panels, discussions, and sessions at Random House’s New York headquarters. I am geeked to meet Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls and Parenthood) and hear her perspectives about her debut novel, Someday Someday Maybe. The sessions on bullying and bringing a bestseller to life is also exciting. After co-hosting a wonderful #gno Twitter chat party with Chef Alex Guarnaschelli last year, I am psyched to hear about her debut cooking book, Old-School Comfort Food.
I am SO ready for SELF Workout in the Park on May 11th (rain or shine!) at Rumsey Playfield at Central Park! This year celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Workout in the Park, the iconic active lifestyle event. The day will include hands-on, all-in-one roster of workouts, workshops, and giveaways – all designed to bring SELF’s total well-being philosophy to life. I’m excited for the CRUNCH fitness workouts, mini-spa services, yoga and pilates! I also hear there will be a celebrity guest appearance from Bethenny Frankel and lots of fab swag!
I am feeling really lucky I was selected to attend Fitness Magazine’s Blogger Meet & Tweet on May 16th. #FitBlogNYC will be an amazing experience and I am excited to be part of it! What I’ve been reading from last year attendees is that it will be a truly fabulous event!
