It has been miserably hot during this heat wave! Our family has been spending time at the pool AND in the air conditioning. However after quite a few indoor gym workouts, I was getting antsy! Tonight, we waited for the heat to break and the boys and Mr. indulged my inner Venus and Serena and my jonesin’ for tennis.

My oldest son and I ran to and from the tennis courts (about a mile). He is in great shape (travel basketball is great for this kid!). Then we spent about a half hour playing doubles. Even the Mr. got into a bit! We definitely beat the post-dinner lazies. So glad we braved the heat and spent some quality time together!
