This week literally flew by! I have made a conscious effort to get in at least 3-4 workouts in the gym or at-home plus daily walks (with my puppy Yoda). Between work, my sons’ many extracurricular activities (my son competed in his school’s Spelling Bee and placed in the top 5!), and just the day to day it was a struggle but “you may not HAVE the time, you MAKE the time”.
On Tuesday, I went to Zumba Toning at my gym in the morning. I was having problems with my Polar at Zumba but I still logged in 45 minutes on Weight Watchers app. In the evening I took MAD COOL FITNESS with Jennifer Turner in the evening. I met Jennifer at the Fitness Magazine Blogger Meet and Tweet event and had taken her high-octane class with other bloggers. This Spring, MAD COOL FITNESS is opening a new studio in Teachers’ Village in Newark and I am excited for those that work, live, and love Newark to have a access to the many services MAD COOL FITNESS provides.
I put on my Nike Fuel Band before MAD COOL FITNESS and I exceeded my daily goal in 75 minutes. If that isn’t a workout, I don’t know what is! If you love great music and a killer workout definitely take a MAD COOL FITNESS class!
On Friday, I met with my personal trainer Tara for Arm Day. Lots of planks, push-ups, rope moves. Afterwards I hit the elliptical for a half hour.
Tomorrow, I will be at the Goddess-on-the-Go event, filled with lots of yoga, dance, and channeling my inner goddess. It is a full day workshop of deep healing and divine delights. I am excited for a full day to connect with other women and have time just for me!
Though I wanted to get another personal training session and cardio workout in this week, I had a pretty stellar week. Tara took my measurements and in two weeks I will update on how I am doing. I want to re-focus on my eating–more veggies, water, and less imbibing.
