This is a sponsored post with the Niche Parent Network & Conference. All opinions are my own.

There are many things in the past year I am thankful for and our ten month old puppy Yoda is one of them…

We rescued Yoda, an energetic and handsome Dachshund and Jack Russell Terrier Mix, in September and he instantly became part of the Get Fit Family. As a working mom of two young active boys and now as a pet parent, we are constantly on the go and Yoda is on this crazy adventure of life with us!

I truly believe our dog is happiest when he is sniffing out new adventures in the great outdoors and even indoors! Every day we go on multiple walks around the neighborhood. Since I work primarily from home, this provides Yoda and I with a much-needed breath of fresh air and activity–even during the brutal winter months when a short walk with his sweater on was the norm.

Yoda encourages all of us to be more active whether it be playing catch in the front yard or going for power walks to pick up my younger son from his bus stop. We are so excited to bring Yoda on his first official hike and have him partake in our outdoor activities now that’s finally warm. I’m glad that he has a new Tall Tails bed so he has a place to rest before and after each adventure!

The Tall Tail pet bed is SO incredibly soft to the touch and fits perfectly in Yoda’s crate. For now, we have it in the living room because Yoda likes to lay on it in his sun spot. Our pup likes to sunbathe and it is the perfect spot for him to rest!

We have a couple of dogs and several cats. The best workout they get is playing with one another. You look outside my window and the dogs will be chasing each other and the cats will be causing chaos inside.
