Experts now say there are diet and exercise tips for every stage of life that can maximize fitness in your 20s, 30s, 40s, and beyond. Women’s Health editor and fitness trainer Jen Ator shares tips for proper exercise from your 20s to 50s:
Diet and Exercise Tips for Every Age
20s – Set the tone early! It’s all about HIIT (high-intensity interval training) and strength training.
30s – Cut back on caffeine and salt that can accelerate bone loss. Try the burpee shuffle (shown in the video)!
40s – Eat more protein and watch portion control.
50s – Incorporate yoga and pilates.
