‘Tis the season not to fall off on the GET FIT wagon of healthier eating and to continue on a path of eating well, moving more, and finding your fabulous. Jennifer Turner of MAD COOL FITNESS has an incredible holiday challenge to support and and motivate during the holiday seasons. The 30 day “STEP AWAY FROM THAT CHICKEN WING!” Fitness Challenge is designed to give you tips and inspiration to help you navigate one of the biggest battles in what Jennifer affectionately call the “FAT WAR”. You vs. You vs. your environment that can make living healthy difficult. The SAFTCW Holiday Challenge incorporates Jennifer’s experience and tips that have helped her to live a healthy lifestyle, CONSISTENTLY for 16 years.
“This challenge is not a diet or motivation for you to lose weight. After all it is the Holidays so we’ve got to get real. You are going to eat “bad” things and take a few nips of holiday cham cham and rum-infused egg nog,” asserts Jennifer.
“I want you to enjoy the Holidays, food and all; they only come around once a year. But I want you to enjoy within parameters so you don’t blow all of the hard work you’ve done all year with your fitness, or if you are a beginner, make it that much harder for yourself to start when January comes around.” says Jennifer.
Jennifer had me at step away from the chicken wing so I signed up to keep myself accountable during the holidays. So what does the challenge consist of?

Remember being healthy is a process. This challenge is the first step in you learning the coping skills to help you navigate high risk food situations so you feel more confident the next time you’re in a high stress food situation.
