Soccer isn’t something that you can fake, its a feeling, a passion, a lifestyle.
NY Red Bulls are currently the TOP team in Major League Soccer (1st place in the league and in the Eastern Conference) so the GET FIT FAMILY was beyond stoked when we were invited to attend our first Red Bulls game. Did I mention this is my youngest son’s first season as a soccer player and my first official season as a soccer mom?! We are living, breathing, and loving soccer and were completely blown away by the entire “suite life” experience at the New York Red Bulls arena.
First up was the Red BULLevard! Open 3 hours before kickoff until 30 minutes before kick, the BULLevard in front of Red Bull Arena for fun activities for fans of all ages.
We enjoyed taking accuracy kicks, making posters, watching the New York Red Bulls Street Team perform freestyle tricks while revving up the crowd, and take our pictures in a cool photo booth. You can even challenge your friends in a game of FIFA in the gaming zone…this is one of our favorite video games to play at home!

This was our first time at Red Bull Arena and it didn’t disappoint. Red Bull Arena is a 25,000-seat state-of-the-art facility located in Harrison, New Jersey and the home of the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer (MLS). The arena opened in March 2010, when the Red Bulls defeated Brazilian side, Santos, 3-1. Since then, Red Bull Arena has hosted a number of top club and international squads including the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Teams, Brazil, Colombia, Manchester City (England), Chelsea FC (England), PSG (France) and Juventus (Italy). The arena is structured to create a distinct soccer atmosphere as fans in the front row are just 21 feet from the touchlines. Its dynamic roof is a curving structure that wraps the entire arena in an elegant metal shell to create an architectural statement of power and elegance. No matter where you sit, you have a tremendous view. It truly is a beautiful arena!
After fun times at the BULLevard, we were off to our Skybox suite!
The Skybox seating is the ultimate entertainment experience. From the minute we stepped off the elevator, we were impressed. With exclusive access to the Skybox Lounge, we also able to partake in all-inclusive food and beverage. My boys loved the sushi and dessert stations best and there was so much to choose from–salads, hot dogs, fresh carved meats, pretzel bites, pasta station, fresh roasted vegetables…you won’t leave hungry! The Skybox also included complimentary valet parking, VIP entrance with view of the player tunnel and a personal Skybox attendant who was super accommodating.
We had an awesome time at the sideline fan experience. We were mere feet away from the players as they warmed up. My sons were in awe!
As a Jersey girl (born and raised), it was great to cheer on players like homegrown NJ native players – Matt Miazga (Clifton, NJ), Sean Davis (Holmdel, NJ) and Connor Lade (Convent Station/Livingston, NJ). So exciting!
The game was exciting and a nail biter. The energy in the crowd was electric! Cheers, chants, and fun rooting our team on!
Another fan experience our family participated in was the Half Time Fan Tunnel. The energy was high as the boys were able to line up in the player tunnel as the Red Bulls take the pitch for the second half of the match. The boys also were able to meet and greet with two New York Red Bulls players: Roy Miller and Chris Duvall.
