Who has two thumbs and loves cars and trucks especially learning about the best and new hotness? This diva right here!
Needless to say, I am super excited that Kelley Blue Book has invited me to their headquarters next week in Irvine, California for their first ever Kelley Blue Book Blogger Ride-N-Drive Event and to celebrate the Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Awards!
Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Awards honors the top new model-year vehicles available in the U.S. market, (regardless of whether it’s all-new or not), in 12 major categories, along with an overall winner (chosen from the winning list of 12 segment winners). Designed as a service to the American new-car buyer, these awards recognize the best of all available 2016 model-year vehicles.
The awards are the culmination of a year-long regimen of expert vehicle evaluation and testing of nearly every new vehicle available in America, along with analysis of a broad swath of vehicle-related data, including pricing/transaction prices, 5-Year Cost-to-Own information (which includes depreciation, insurance, maintenance, financing, fuel, fees and taxes for new cars), consumer reviews and ratings, and vehicle sales information. Backed by nearly 90 years of expertise, the Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Awards help shoppers’ in-market for a new car make the best possible purchase decision.
Of more than 300 new-car models available for 2016, Kelley Blue Book’s expert editors have narrowed the field to a total of 49 Best Buy Award Finalists that include 18 vehicle makes across 12 major vehicle categories. At the conclusion of the test-evaluation regimen, winners will be named a Kelley Blue Book Best Buy in each of the 12 categories, along with an overall Best Buy of 2016 winner.
Since my lease on my SUV is up, I am looking for a new vehicle next year. Should I buy or finance? Car or SUV? I’m looking forward to Kelley Blue Book, the only vehicle valuation and information source trusted and relied upon by both consumers and the automotive industry, for answers for my new model-year vehicle choice. I’m leaning more towards a SUV again with great fuel economy and a bit of luxury but I can be swayed. I’ve owned or leased a Mercedes GL450, BMW x3, Honda Pilot and most recently Ford Explorer so as you can see, my tastes are varied! If you’re looking for a truck, check out this humorous montage of different objects inside the truck’s bed testing its payload capacity (featuring the 2016 Ford F-150).
Without further ado, here are the finalists:
