I am all about wearing the proper bra support whatever the activity–running, yoga, Zumba, spin. So when this happened…
I was beyond excited to win a Title Nine bra fitting and sports bra! Mainly because:
- the “girls” need all the support they can get
- it takes a tribe of bras
Believe it or not, this Queen of Online Shopping had never ordered or even heard of Title Nine so before my bra fitting call, I perused their site. So.much.goodness from dresses, skirts, tops, sweaters, outwear, footwear, gear…the world is your oyster. Be still my fitness fashion loving heart. The shoes. The socks. THE SHOES!
My bra fitting specialist Marsha worked with my crazy, insane schedule and finally
cornered me against a wall found an “in” after dinnertime on a Thursday evening. My life lately has been crazy. Traveling on both coasts, a half-marathon, a 10K, work, DIY projects, Halloween…um, yes certifiably insane.
Marsha listened to my needs (need GOOD support for DD+, underwire preferably, some modesty, can wick some/all sweat, not give me dreaded uni-boob) and recommended three bras:
- Intrepid Underwire Bra – “A bra that takes on the biggest support challenges without flinching. Our fullest-coverage, back-closing, sport bra, the Intrepid’s compressive seaming locks down movement while insuring separation. Underwire and firm band add stability. Anti-microbial finish keeps the Intrepid smelling like new. Adjustable straps, back closure.”
- 2-in-1 Full Support Adjustable Sports Bra – “If your cups tend to runneth over, then this bra is for you. It has it all: full coverage, support, separation and wicking. Support comes from the highly constructed, seam-free cups and 17% spandex; separation from the invisible, plush-covered underwire; wicking and air-flow from mesh panels. 83% spun poly. Two-layer construction. Adjustable, gel shoulder straps. By Moving Comfort.”
- Marvel – “Marvel at the gravity-defying support. Marvel at the complete separation. Marvel at the sculpted design. Careful contouring augmented by cleverly channeled underwire keeps our girls perky all workout long. Converts to an x-back using a j-hook. Best for those with a small rib cage and large breasts.”
I loved that Marsha offered three sports bras I would not ordinarily choose for myself. I was all gung ho to try the 7 Wonders Bra because that’s the kind I usually wear. From the three recommendations, I chose the Intrepid with the Marvel running a close second but I had concerns about the small rib cage part (which I have the opposite of).

The best part? Marsha assured me that if I didn’t love the Intrepid that I could send it back for another sports bra. When you purchase from Title Nine, they want you to love what you get. So, if for any reason or no reason, you are not happy with your T9 purchase, send it back within a year for an exchange or full refund. No questions. No hassles. No kidding.
I really loved my bra fitting chat. It was like bra shopping with a knowledgeable friend that wants you to look and feel your best.
Do you want to try out Title Nine? You can take their Bra Genie quiz or speak with a “Bravengelist”.
In the interim, I’m waiting for my Intrepid to arrive so I can give you the 411!
