I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Depend. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
It is something we don’t want to talk about. At all. But it happens and I’m going to talk about it. Bladder leaks. If you’re like me with a busy, active life hustling after my kids, working, getting my fitness on, blogging, building an empire (::cue dramatic music: dun dun dunnnnn), spending time with my loved ones, running errands…you get it because we are all hustling! We don’t miss a moment of life passing us by sitting on the sidelines worrying about the unthinkable–bladder leakage and now with Depend Silhouette Active Fit Briefs, we don’t have to!
Unfortunately, for 1 in 3 of us (that’s 51 million women, y’all!), bladder leakage often causes us to leave our gray yoga pants in the back of the closet, or avoid certain activities all together. Baggy, black sweatpants and a spot in the back of spin class can quell our fears that someone might notice our bulky undergarments, but aren’t we all looking for a better option to manage this issue? Sure, we laugh about it with friends because we know they’ve “been there”, along with millions of other women, but we don’t always discuss it outside our circle – until now!
This isn’t my first rodeo with Depend Silhouette Active Fit Briefs, Depend brand’s new moderate absorbency brief featuring thin design for complete comfort and protection. I love the lower rise and that in comes in black and beige to stylishly complement my wardrobe. The cloth-like fabric is smooth under clothes especially with the lower rise. By wearing the Active Fit Briefs, I was able to stay active and feel confident. I wasn’t worried during the most intense workouts and could concentrate on my fitness AND having fun!
I hope you join the movement in sharing #Underwareness and let women know that wearing a different kind of underwear is no big deal! For each of our photos or videos shared, and every tweet or Instagram post tagged #Underwareness, the Depend brand will donate $1 to charity (to fund charities that advance the research and education of bladder leakage) — up to $3 million over 3 years.
