Happy Monday, GET FIT DIVAs! I have been reading voraciously and journaling daily using Danielle Laporte‘s Desire Map Planner. For Christmas, my husband gifted me with the entire program and since the New Year I’ve been desire mapping. The overall result thus far? Feeling GOOD and finding out the ways to feel the way you want to feel. What prompted this Manifest Monday when I haven’t done one in weeks? My sons both read my blog and last night my oldest son asked me why I didn’t write more things about ME. Wow, I guess he is right. I do try to write about food/recipes, workouts, fitness fashion, etc but sometimes I don’t write much about myself. If you don’t follow me on Instagram, you wouldn’t know that last month I successfully completed a #DryJanuary and lost 13 pounds (much of which was holiday weight gain) or the new workouts I’ve been trying.
I want to start sharing on Manifest Mondays some of my journaling and hope you will share what you are manifesting and putting into fruition in the universe.
What are 3 things you would do on your ideal day?
- Make sure to get a GREAT workout in – I try to work out 4-5 times a week but there are times when it just doesn’t happen. On an ideal day, I would be able to get in a great cardio workout (think: Zumba) AND yoga.
- Cook a meal entirely from scratch – I love, love, love to cook but sometimes I don’t have time to make our dinners entirely from scratch. Life happens. Work, my boys’ sports schedules, etc etc. so on an ideal day I would love to try out a new recipe from Kelis’ new cookbook or a vegan meal from Soul Food Love. I would get my sons and Mister involved, turn on some Billie Holiday, and enjoy cooking for a few hours.
- Have a date with my Mister – Date lunches and date nights are getting fewer and father in between. My ideal day would end with going out and doing something fun with the Mister–dancing, the movies, bowling.
