Thank you for visiting Chronicles of a (trying to be) Fit Diva! This is a collection of my everyday musings as I reach my fitness and weight-loss goals, balance family-career-life, and try to lead my happiest life.

I am a thirty-something year old mom of two amazing sons, devoted wife of eleven years, and PR pro with a love (borderline obssession!) for great shoes, a penchant for damask and vintage, and a desire to live my happiest life. Is that too much to ask for? I think not!

Six years ago I was at my fitness ideal. Life happened. I re-gained the weight I had lost after my second son was born. However, I refuse to live in yesterday and now I’m getting back to my prime. The above picture is from Valentine’s Day 2013 when I finally tore the tags off a size 10 dress I had bought, in a time when I had no darn business buying it! I am back on track and ready to climb the mountaintop to reach my goals. I know I have quite a bit to go but I am determined to be FIT and HEALTHY. I follow Weight Watchers and after years of trying every diet under the sky, I am finally learning how to eat! I dabble in vegan, gluten-free, and Paleo recipes. I love to try different foods! I also love going to the gym–Zumba, spinning, kickboxing, and yoga are my favorites but I am always willing to try something new!
